1. Overview of the Service

MilSim.io is a platform that allows gaming communities to create and manage structured groups, events, rankings, campaigns, and related community functionality.

Users may create and manage communities on the platform, join communities, submit applications, participate in events, and interact with community management systems.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of MilSim.io, you must create an account.

Accounts may be created using supported authentication providers including email/password authentication, Discord, Steam, Google, or Microsoft identity providers.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Community Creation

Users may create communities on MilSim.io.

Communities may include various forms of user-generated content including but not limited to:

• Community names, descriptions, and abbreviations
• Logos, banners, and visual assets
• Campaigns and events
• Ranks, awards, and qualifications
• Units and order-of-battle structures (ORBATs)
• Positions and community roles
• Automation flows
• Application forms and custom forms
• User-generated profiles within communities

Community administrators are responsible for managing their communities and the content submitted by users within those communities.

4. Platform Moderation

MilSim.io communities are primarily self-managed.

However, Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd reserves the right to moderate the platform retrospectively.

Moderation actions may include removal of content, suspension of users, restriction of communities, or termination of accounts.

Moderation actions may occur without notice and at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

Users may not use MilSim.io to:

• Upload or distribute illegal content
• Harass or abuse other users
• Distribute malicious software or attempt to exploit the platform
• Upload content that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights
• Manipulate platform ranking systems or voting systems
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to platform infrastructure

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of accounts.

6. Voting and Ranking Systems

MilSim.io provides voting and ranking functionality for communities.

Users and communities may not attempt to manipulate these systems through automated voting, vote brigading, or other abusive methods.

Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd reserves the right to invalidate votes, remove rankings, or restrict communities if abuse of the voting system is detected.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain platform features are available through paid subscription plans.

Subscriptions may be billed on a monthly basis or on an optional six-month billing period.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. MilSim.io does not store payment card information.

Refunds may be issued on a pro-rated basis at the discretion of Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd.

If a subscription payment fails or is cancelled, paid functionality associated with that subscription may be removed.

Community data associated with subscription features is not automatically deleted if payments stop, but features tied to the subscription may be disabled.

8. API Access and Automation

MilSim.io may provide API access and integrations with third-party platforms such as Discord.

API access is managed through authentication and authorization systems, including OAuth-based access controls.

Unauthorized scraping, automated requests, or attempts to bypass access controls are prohibited.

9. Termination of Accounts

Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time if these Terms are violated or if platform abuse is suspected.

Account termination may occur without prior notice.

10. Intellectual Property

The MilSim.io platform, including its software, branding, and design, is the intellectual property of Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd.

Users may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or reproduce the platform without permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

MilSim.io is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd does not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.

Users assume all risk associated with use of the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform.

This includes loss of data, loss of community activity, or service interruptions.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.

14. Changes to These Terms

Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Community Abandonment

Communities created on MilSim.io may become inactive or abandoned over time.

Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd reserves the right to restrict, archive, or remove communities that remain inactive for extended periods of time.

Inactivity may include, but is not limited to:

• Extended absence of administrators
• No community activity for prolonged periods
• Failure to maintain required subscriptions for premium functionality

Removal or archival of inactive communities may occur without notice.

12. User Content Licence

Users may upload content to MilSim.io, including but not limited to community logos, banners, descriptions, and other visual or textual materials.

By uploading content to the platform, users grant Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as necessary for the operation of the MilSim.io platform.

This licence exists solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the platform and does not transfer ownership of the content.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights to upload and share the content they submit to the platform.

13. Platform Changes

MilSim.io is an evolving platform and features may change over time.

Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd reserves the right to modify, remove, replace, or introduce new functionality at any time.

Changes to platform features may affect how communities interact with the service, including changes to subscription plans or feature availability.

While we aim to maintain continuity where possible, continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes made to the service.

14. Community Responsibility

MilSim.io hosts communities created and managed by users of the platform. These communities operate independently and are responsible for their own content, administration, and conduct.

Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the actions, statements, or content produced by communities or their members.

Community administrators are responsible for managing their communities and ensuring that content submitted by their members complies with applicable laws and these Terms of Service.

While Artemis Digital Solutions Ltd may take moderation actions when issues are identified, the platform does not actively monitor all community content.

Users acknowledge that interactions within communities are conducted at their own discretion and risk.
