ABOUT US
[JSOC] 160th SOAR (A) is the Special Operation Aviation element of the [JSOC] DEVGRU | TACD&E 4 unit portraying modern special operations. Authentic procedures, specialized equipment and airframes, realistic mission planning and coordinated teamwork shape our immersive operations. Our community values discipline, reliability and mutual trust. Members continually develop their skills through regular training, operational experience and After Action Reviews (AARs).

SELECTION & TRAINING
Applicants participate in an introductory conversation addressing motivation, communication and teamwork. Candidates are gradually integrated into our operational structure.
All candidates start in Green Platoon learning basic skills. After completing Green Platoon, candidates move on to training for their chosen MOS:

OPERATIONS & DEPLOYMENTS
Missions include Air Assault, inserting/extracting ground forces, Close Air Support, ISR, CSAR and Personnel Recovery, Maritime Operations and more.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE
We don't have fixed training days/times for the air element yet, but we plan for at least 1-2 training sessions per week depending on resources and members' preference.

Operations:
Friday | Main Operation: 20:30–Open End (usually until 00:30 Saturday)
Saturday | Gameday: 16:00–22:00
Sunday | Operation: from 15:00

REQUIREMENTS
Fluent German (spoken and understood)
Mature, reliable and team-oriented attitude
Legal copy of ARMA 3
Functional microphone and stable internet
Willingness to train, learn and participate regularly
MILSIM experience preferred but not required
