Grupa Liwonia

We are a English speaking Arma 3 Milsim group based on a fictional unit in the Livonian Defence Force, hosting events around 8pm GMT (20:00) time on various days, usually Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays.
Lore
Although the core of the unit theme is the fictional LDF 4th Special Tasking Group “Liwonia” - the campaigns and missions often revolve around various different units of assorted actors, including conventional and reserve units, set in varied time periods.
The unique overarching story could cover everything from a Modern NATO-Russia conflict and Modern GWOT deployments, to the Cold War Livonian Red Army and early Cold War Anti-Soviet Partisan Resistance.
Lite Milsim
The unit philosophy values the practical aspects of Milsim that are applicable in-game and serve a purpose of enhancing gameplay, encouraging teamwork and adding immersion, rather than adhering to real life practices for the sake of accuracy.
Through combining Milsim aspects with various realism, immersion and suppression mods (as well as custom gear mods) and a diverse set of mission types, often including air and armored assets, Grupa Łiwonia strives for a unique immersive hardcore tactical experience.
