X | 4 TROOP | SPECIAL BOAT SERVICE is a specialist maritime special operations unit within the United Kingdom Special Forces framework, designed to operate in small, highly capable teams across maritime, littoral and land environments. The Troop specialises in reconnaissance, direct action, maritime interdiction, specialist insertion and operating independently in complex and high-threat environments.

X | 4 TROOP places a strong emphasis on initiative, judgement, adaptability and small-team cohesion. Personnel are expected to operate effectively with limited support, conduct specialist reconnaissance, exploit opportunities and integrate maritime capabilities with wider joint operations. Our realism structure is inspired by the publicly documented roles and capabilities of the Special Boat Service, adapted for immersive Arma operations.
