Rooted in the lineage of the historic 187th Infantry Regiment, Task Force Rakkasan (TFR) brings multi-domain, campaign-driven Milsim to Arma Reforger—without the cringey virtual pushups or administrative ego trips.
THE COMBAT ELEMENTS
1-1 “Tanuki” (Light Infantry) The primary ground maneuver force. Fast-moving, versatile, and built to hit objectives hard, secure landing zones, and clear hostiles in high-intensity environments.
1-2 “Oni” (Heavy Weapons & Direct Support) The heavy hammer working alongside Tanuki as our second main ground squad. Oni brings heavy weapons, crew-served firepower, and decisive direct support to break hardened enemy lines.
1-3 “Yokai” (Mechanized Armor) Pure steel and firepower. Yokai handles protected troop mobility, armored assault, and direct-fire overwatch across contested battlespaces.
Wings of Destiny (Aviation Squadron) Our JSOAC rotary and fixed-wing aircrews delivering rapid troop insertions, combat extractions, emergency resupplies, and precise Close Air Support (CAS).
2-1 “Kumaneko” (Special Warfare & Recon) An invite-only, Air Force-inspired special operations element. Members are scouted internally from within TFR to gather forward intelligence, deny enemy assets, and execute specialized tasking ahead of the main force. (Squad 2-2 will open for dedicated Air Assault operations as unit numbers grow).
THE CAMPAIGN EXPERIENCE
We don’t do boring, copy-paste building sweeps. TFR operations are multi-week narrative campaigns set in unique, custom-crafted theaters—from high-stakes NATO force-on-force clashes in thick European woodlands to brutal anti-cartel warfare along the Texas border.
Our Game Masters design atmospheric, unpredictable scenarios built to test your adaptability. You might think you’re walking into a routine apartment complex you cleared last operation, only to find out it’s full of knife-wielding cultists who want nothing more than to stab you to death. We play with modern, realistic mods like ACE and GRS to push Arma Reforger well past its base-game limits.
