The 1st Battalion, The King’s Royal Regiment is a multi-role, all-arms British Army battlegroup built to operate across the full spectrum of modern conflict.
Operating as a self-sufficient, Ranger-style battalion, 1 KRR conducts missions ranging from reconnaissance and direct action to security operations and conventional combat.
As part of the Special Operations Brigade, we combine the flexibility and independence of a Ranger formation with the firepower and capabilities of a full battlegroup.
