Task Force 3-506

Task Force 3-506 is a Vietnam War realism and historical reenactment unit dedicated to recreating the combat operations of the 3rd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment - the legendary Currahee.

Our goal is to accurately simulate the experience of American infantrymen in Vietnam from 1967–1971 through immersive missions, historically accurate equipment, and operations based on real events.

This is not just a unit, it is an ongoing historical preservation project bringing attention to the often forgotten Stand Alone Battalion of the Currahee.

We research original footage, unit documents, veteran interviews, and sources such as Screaming Eagle newspapers, and out-of-print books by serving infantrymen at the time to build authentic Vietnam War missions.
