Task Force Spartan is a US-based MilSim unit that emulates the 75th Ranger Regiment with attached 160th SOAR and 1st SFOD Delta detachment. Founded back in 2014, TFS has always delivered a tight-knit community and lifelong friends. With a dedicated mission-making team, our deployments are always weekly-run, multi-session operations focused on player-driven story elements, which happen every Sunday at 14.30 EST, as we are a US-based unit Unit Composition Task Force Spartan comprises several specialized units. The core is Spear, a platoon of experienced Arma veterans, supported by the Dagger team. Our aviation wing, Falcon, provides everything from close air support to airborne logistics during operations. We also field a support platoon that manages armor, mortars, and ground-based logistics. Our infantry detachment, known as Spear, is modeled after the 75th Ranger Regiment and currently fields 4 squads. Each squad is led by committed, experienced leaders and supported by seasoned platoon staff who oversee operations. We’re actively looking for motivated players to fill the remaining roles within these squads and to expand the detachment as our community grows. Upon joining the unit, new members must complete R.A.S.P, or the Ranger Assessment & Selection Program. It’s designed to allow Task Force Spartan to provide basic combat and MOS training to new recruits and judge their overall abilities and attendance. This is a 4-week program; new members can still join the operations, but R.A.S.P. must be completed before being assigned to a Combat Element with TFS. Working alongside Spear is the Dagger team, inspired by SFOD-D (Delta Force). Dagger specializes in highly complex, high-risk missions, including hostage rescue, high-value target extraction, and other specialized tasks requiring precision and adaptability. Falcon is our aviation detachment based on the 160th SOAR, 10th Air Force & the 24th Special Tactics Squadron. These guys do everything from fixed-wing CAS to CASEVAC, providing accurate fire to assist troops in contact as well as logistics and transport. However, we have retained a core group of experienced players who love the game and the MilSim environment. These players have stuck with our unit and make us who we are today.
