Description

Sabre Company is a NATO Tier 2 Special Operations Force which was formed to provide a rapidly deployable and highly adaptable force, bridging the gap between conventional military operations and Tier 1 units. Sabre Company’s SOPs and Doctrine were created with heavy inspiration from U.S. Army Rangers meaning the unit’s structure reflects the ranger style of organisation. Specialising in light infantry tactics, raids and operating in complex and hostile environments. Established in 2023 amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine its personnel are drawn from across NATO member states, consisting of experienced light infantry, reconnaissance specialists and support personnel. This multinational composition allows Sabre Company to operate easily alongside all allied forces while still maintaining its own operational identity. Sabre Company operates under NATO Special Operations Command as a small but capable rapid deployment element. While not a clandestine Tier 1 unit, Sabre Company often works in support of such elements. Sabre Company’s primary mission set focuses on direct action and light infantry special operations including: • Airfield seizures • Strategic objective raids • Direct action and coordinated assaults • Special reconnaissance and surveillance • Ambush and interdiction operations • Personnel and sensitive site recovery • Counter insurgency and counter-terrorism In addition to this Sabre Company is able to support broader NATO strategic goals through: • Training of allied/ local forces • Intelligence gathering and presence patrols • Quick reaction force and Security assistance • Joint operations with conventional and special operations units Ranger roles We run a primary and secondary role orbat and are currently comprised of - S 1-6 (Platoon lead) S 1-7 (Platoon medic) S 1-1 (Assault squad) S 1-2 (Assault squad) S 1-3 (Weapons squad) SNOT (Sniper and observation team) 2 x Zulu callsigns (JTAC) All forms of leadership from PL to TL [Even if the role is taken currently one may be available in the future] Infantry Roles (Grenadier, Breacher, LMG Gunner - M249) [Open to all] Specialist Roles (SNOT, Medic, JTAC) [Certification] Weapons Squad Roles (MMG Gunner - M240, Ast. MMG Gunner) [Certification] Command roles - Intel Officers [Dedicated Zeus/mission makers] - Intel Operators [Part time Zeus] 190th SOAR roles - RW (Transport and CAS) - FW (Transport and CAS) - UAV (ISR and CAS) - Crew Chiefs - Door Gunners We are currently looking for an experienced member with knowledge of the hatchet and Apache project mods to fill out our flight lead role and oversee training and SOP implementation to get all pilots up to speed.
